Feeling Hollow After Deathly Hallows
I’ll be damned if that wasn’t a proper title.
Spoilers warning on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Depressing spoilers. So depressing.
When It Rains… Everything’s Wet
I never thought I’d be able to reach the office this morning. Going out of UP was a toil when the water’s ankle-deep. And to think I’m wearing a skirt, at least it would be easier for me to wipe off the water than wring it out from the ends of my pants.
Come to think of it, this is nothing compared to the people going to Manila and other places where the water is higher than your ankles. I’m whining about petty things, masyado akong nasanay o nakulob sa loob ng UP kung saan lahat madali. Nakakahiya, and I actually felt sorry for myself when my father couldn’t drop me off to Philcoa because of the coding scheme.
Binabawi ko na, kaya ang iniisip ko nalang ngayon: it could be worse. Kung nasa Manila ako ngayon, may posibilidad na naanod na ‘ko sa Manila Bay.
TGIF: No Such Thing
It’s a Friday and naturally, we get a break from wearing formal office attire and slip into the more comfortable jeans and shirt. Unfortunately, all my jeans were sent to the seamstress for length readjustment, so I dolled up with my flowing wrap-around skirt with matching wide-necked shirt. I had my hair in a ponytail and put little dangling earrings for effect. In one phrase: ang ganda ng lola mo. In my father’s words: mukha kang fairy godmother.
Mantra of the Month: Harry is Hot, Harry is Hot, Harry is Hot…

Harry Potter and the Boxes of Books
It’s a Saturday but I was forced to go to the office to finish some things. It’s past nine already and there was little traffic within the business district when I remembered that today’s the day the last installment of the Harry Potter series will be released. I still only have five books at home, the sixth I’ve already read, thanks to a friend, but I didn’t feel like buying one for myself after feeling dissatisfied with that book. I’ll have to read the last one to see if it’s worth collecting.
