El Pueblo Scandal and other matters

I’m starting to be nice and greet people on their birthdays, especially when they treat you with sisig in Congo Grille. Though this one’s already 2 days late, but still … Nahuling (belated) maligayang bati at salamat uli Julius! Next time, sa Chateau McDo na. :)

Same goes to Direk Mike last July 1. I remember because that was the day Macku died (our dear Japanese Spits-crossover-Poodle) seven years ago. Sorry pare, ganda ng timing mo eh. Belated happy birthday!

Later I’ll be attending one of my boss’ post-birthday party. I just made leche flan and my mom says we’ll be giving six llaneras. I made seven. Akin yung isa. hehe. I’m kind of nervous, she’s also been my mom’s boss for almost my whole life, and this is the first time I’ll get to be involved in a casual occasion with her. Along with a bunch of important individuals with whom I’ll be in constant contact with because of my job. Oh well, eventually I’ll have to go through such hazing. The time is now.

Pinoy Moms Unite!

I’m trying to catch up with some of the blogs I’ve already visited. This I would like to promote. Very useful and noteworthy, especially if you are a mom or someone who dearly loves your mom, grandma, or great granny. Worth visiting.

Pinoy Moms Network

Pinoy Moms Network is an e-zine about Pinoy moms all around and sharing their experiences, advice, tips and a lot more to those who understand the same things.

I’m not a mommy, not yet anyway, but it’s good to know a few things in another point of view. Malay mo ba? Hehe. And it’s not only conducive to mommies. I’d like to think the articles here can give kids and husbands a view of what their moms and wives go through into making a good home for them. So, check it out.
